你好,Ray
Meet Ray, our latest hire, who just joined our Backend team in Shanghai.
I’m Ray. I’m happy to have this opportunity to join Wiredcraft as a backend engineer. Prior to joining WCL, I worked for many firms and used many different program languages. From Java to Python, then Elixir and now I’m learning NodeJs. My major was Geographic Information Systems, but I had a short internship as a prepress designer because I liked graphic design. Now, I’ve almost forgotten the sense of the design, but still remember a commonality between coding and design: simplicity is powerful.
What are the three things you like about Wiredcraft?
Friday lunch for free is the No 1. The second one is that I can meet new colleagues from different countries and cultures. Oh, the flexible working time saves me as a night owl.
What’s the most adventurous experience you have had?
I did two months studying abroad in London. During the journey, I made friends from all over the world. The biggest change was my appreciation for musicals. I ended up watching more than 10 musicals at the West-End theatre. Kinky Boots was my favourite.
If there’s one thing you recommend everyone in the world to do, what would it be?
Be yourself and enjoy life!
What are your hobbies?
Fitness, console games, musicals and playing with my cute cats!
