Here's Tony!
Tony, aka shuaibird, recently joined Wiredcraft as our Frontend Developer. He will work with our Frontend Team to tackle React based projects.
Hola, this is Tony. I’m a JavaScript developer with more than 2 years of working experience. I’ve worked with a few startups in the tech industry.
What attracted you to apply here?
The JS conf attracted me to join. Besides that, I love the flexible working time, the remote-friendly working style, and the multicultural startup atmosphere here.
What’s the most adventurous experience you have had?
I love adventures, e.g., traveling alone when I was young, and playing live gigs. However, I think the most adventurous one is changing my career from non-tech fields to become a developer. I always remember how “scary” it was the first time when I opened the terminal application of my laptop. LOL.
If there’s one thing you recommend everyone in the world to do, what would it be?
Learning programming at some point - maybe impractical for some, but that definitely changed the way I think about a lot of stuff going on in our lives.
What are your hobbies?
I love being creative. Besides coding, I’m interested in UI/UX stuff. I’m also a musicophilia, having spent a lot of time with my guitar. I’m into many different varieties of genres, but hard rock and fusion may be my favorite ones. I think I would be a musician if I wasn’t becoming a developer.
Have you travelled anywhere recently?
Yep. I’m somewhat of a travelholic. I’ve been in Shanghai for a few months, but before that, I visited Dali, Chengdu and Tibet last year.
Book/movie you’ve read/seen that has inspired you?
School of Rock, The Shawshank Redemption, Into the Wild, Whiplash, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Just to name a few.
What motto do you live by?
Get inspired, be inspiring.
