Enchanté, Leo

Hey,

I’m Leo, I just joined Wiredcraft as a backend intern. I come from Carrieres-sur-seine, a small city in the suburbs of Paris. It’s nice, but it cannot beat the great city of Paris, especially as a student. I arrived in Shanghai 8 months ago to study computer sciences for a semester and stayed to do my internship. In France, the system is a little bit different so I am currently in the third year of my studies. I studied mathematics and physics for two years, and I will choose cybersecurity as my major next year. I mostly learned programming and web technologies on my own, enjoying the power of creativity that it gave me.

What are the three things that you like about Wiredcraft?

I really like the company’s website, especially the fact that it says everything without using any corporate language. The work environment at Wiredcraft is also very cool, and the people seem really open minded and focused on quality.

What’s the most adventurous experience you have had?

I guess coming to live one year in Shanghai, even though it happens to be the best year of my studies.

If there’s one thing you recommend everyone in the world to do, what would it be?

Find a job that you’re passionate about, you will be more efficient and life will be more fun.

What are your hobbies?

Back in France, I was doing a lot of field hockey. I also play the trumpet and love tech related news.

Have you travelled anywhere recently?

I recently went to Cambodia for a month during the university break and backpacked all around the country. I really enjoyed it because I was able to visit the main cities, chill on the beach, but also go trekking in the jungle.
