Hey, Christiane

Hi! Im Christiane, and I am excited to be a part of the team here at Wiredcraft as a Web Developer.

I was born and raised on the island of Antigua (shameless plug), the heart of the Caribbean. With impeccable weather and 365 beaches (one for every day of the year), it was certainly a difficult place to leave. However, I decided to move to Shanghai for a one year course, and have been here ever since.

Outside of coding and searching reddit, I generally enjoy taking long scooter rides to explore Shanghai, or looking for new ways to upgrade my PC. I’ve also been getting into mushroom growing recently, but even trying to keep a cactus alive is proving to be difficult.

1. What are the three things you like about Wiredcraft? Or what attracted you to apply here?

I first came to know about Wiredcraft from a UI/UX conference that I attended and have been following the company since then. I was really impressed by the standards held for their development process and was drawn by the fact that quality was also a focus.

2. What’s the most adventurous experience you have had?

I spent a summer with some close friends road tripping through California. It was great seeing a few famous cities/landmarks and trying all the amazing food, but mostly I really enjoyed the natural beauty there.

3. If there’s one thing you recommend everyone in the world to do, what would it be?

Try pupusas. They will change you.
