Hello, Christopher!

Meet Chris, our latest hire, who just joined our Business team in Shanghai.

Hey,

I’m Christopher, but I usually just go by Chris. I was born and raised in Southern California, and by some magical yet unsurprising turn of events, I found my way over to Shanghai like everyone else.

At Wiredcraft, I work as a digital strategist, but I’ll occasionally moonlight as a PM when the need arises. I had originally studied Mechanical Engineering and Biology, but as soon as I realized becoming Mark Watney from The Martian (the book, not the movie) was no easy task, I switched over to coding and tech. Don’t ask me to code though.

Let’s get to the Q&A.

1. What are the three things you like about Wiredcraft? Or what attracted you to apply here?

People at Wiredcraft have a no-nonsense attitude, and I really value that. They’re driven, highly capable, and all very passionate about the work they do, which ultimately makes work that much more exciting and enjoyable.

2. What’s the most adventurous experience you have had?

Getting stitched up in a “children’s hospital” in Shanghai without any anesthesia. That was fun.

3. If there’s one thing you recommend everyone in the world to do, what would it be?

Don’t sleep on yoga, it’s surprisingly tough and the mind-body connection there is unreal.
