English tutorial for analytics on WeChat Mini Programs

A WeChat Mini Programs tutorial with a focus on its analytics dashboard, capabilities, limitations, and how to get the best from it.

Back in November 2016, Tencent introduced Mini Programs in WeChat. They allow users to launch an App within WeChat, without downloading or installing anything.

Living in a digital world, we rely on numbers to gauge the performance of our products, and data analysis is a tool that, if done well, allows you to win big. If you currently have, or are thinking about building a WeChat Mini Program, you are at the right place. We’re going to walk you through the how-to of data analytics for WeChat Mini Programs.

After setting up Mini Program analytics for a number of clients, I’ve decided to put together a tutorial specifically for English speakers, with a focus on the Mini Program analytics dashboard, its capabilities and limitations, and how to get the best from it.
