Kon ni chi wa, Fred

Welcome, Fred, our Backend Developer in Shanghai.

Although he joins us as a developer, his passion for knowledge is not limited to backend systems. In his spare time, he is interested in studying other technologies such as: React and HTML. Fred is also interested in tech podcasts like JavaScript Jabber, the Changelog, Ruby Rogues, and the Bike Shed Podcast.

Apart from technology, Fred is a huge fan of Japanese animation/comics, especially. You also might find him around Shanghai jogging or playing badminton.

Q: What are the three things you like about Wiredcraft?

A: 1. The first JavaScript Shanghai meetup I attended was hosted by Wiredcraft. It gave me the impression that Wiredcraft has a relatively open culture compared to my previous employers.

  1. Wiredcraft is a remote-friendly company, I like the flexibility provided by their remote working culture.

  2. I can use a lot of cool technologies like Node.js, Go and Docker everyday at Wiredcraft. Cool things like that motivate me a lot.

Q:What’s the most adventurous experience you have had?

A: Getting started to work in Shanghai, I’ve made a lot of amazing friends through the journey.

Q: If there’s one thing you recommend everyone in the world to do, what would it be?

A: Keep learning new things and never stop.
