Nvidia Developer Zone

The Nvidia Developer Zone is the main informational portal for developers working with Nvidia's technologies. Gathering news, documentation, tutorials and forums, it caters to a wide range of industries, from video games to mobile applications, and is a critical point of connection between the developer community and Nvidia's engineer force.

Working with Chapter Three, our team helped Nvidia come up with a strategic planning; Chapter Three led most of the graphical effort while our team took care of the information architecture and development of the platform and ultimately supervised its deployment on Acquia's hosting infrastructure.

Built on Drupal 6, the site was built to allow Nvidia's staff to easily publish and organize the massive amount of documentation, resources and news revolving around their products. Most of the pages harness the capabilities of Drupal's taxonomy system to provide a flexible set of layout based on simple categorization of the content. As usual, our developments were led relying on the Context and Features paradigms, allowing us to efficiently release versions of the paltform.

In the background, the site also leverages the Solr search engine to provide a fast and reliable search experience across not only the content published on the main site but also various other platforms, and integrate with the Registered Developer program platform developed by another section of Nvidia's engineering team.
